"While the fire devastated much of this area there are still beautiful spots. It will come back, and we will keep visiting and working on trails. It is a great area to get out and walk around and be away from civilization."

"This place is a GEM. I only spent about five hours here . It wasn't nearly enough so I will be back soon. Many great camping spots and plenty of places to hike, swim, lay on a huge rock slab and soak up the sun and beauty of it all. Please remember to treat this beautiful forest with love and respect. "My wife and I spent the night here and it was great! There were fishermen up and down the creek, but it was a peaceful place to camp. On our second day, we hiked up the trail a few miles and thoroughly enjoyed it. There were a few places where you gained a bit of elevation quickly,, but it always leveled out to a nice gental incline. For most of the time, we were right along the creek, which was beautiful. We have passed by this area many times over the years, but have never taken the time to check out the trail. That was our loss. This is a great place to beat the heat and take beginner hikers on a great adventure."

"Once a swarm of Lady Bugs descended on us and little known fact they Bite. Never bitten before but that swarm bit and bit and bit. Great day."
