My only recommendations would be for the guide to have a sharp fillet knife and to implore the participants to bring thin gloves. Tim used thin construction gloves which was smart. "I went on a spearfishing outing with Jeremy in Kona. It was a fantastic experience. Since this was my first time spearfishing, we spent the first hour talking through the activity and learning the basics of the sport. Jeremy was tremendously knowledgeable and very helpful, always willing to answer any of the questions we asked. The time we spent on land was key to approach the rest of the morning with confidence. After the initial debriefing we went to a fairly isolated spot in the Kona Coast, brimming with healthy coral and fish. There, Jeremy made sure that we had absorbed the fundamentals of spearfishing by running through a couple of diving drills. After that, we spent the rest of the day diving and catching fish.
