"Wash was $3 (30 mins), dry was $1.50 (24 mins). Washer worked well. I dried on high heat and 24 minutes was enough for my small/medium sized load. Bring detergent or buy it from the True Value general store at the other end of the parking lot. Last wash is at 3 pm, but the place stays open til 5 so you can continue to dry clothes."
"Excellent! The lady was right on time to open.. on Christmas Eve none the less! Have to go to TRUE VALUE for change.. but.. no problem there.. they were all really nice. I had 1 load to do.. so I got $6. Wash was $3.. and I just put the other $3 in the dryer.. to make sure it dried. Used the small dryer. Worked great! Clean clothes for the rest of our trip!! Yaay!!"
"Quite convenient if you are staying at Volcano House. Machines take coins only which you can get from the True Value store nearby. You need to bring your own detergent or buy it at the store."
"It's small they close at 3 last wash but it is the only place in town near a town. I live here and I go the young people that run this place do an awesome job and are very very cool with an awesome sense of humor"
"Terrible laundromat. The wash machine we used did not spin properly which left our clothes soaking wet. After ringing them out by hand we put them in the dryer and it didn't dry the clothes at all. The attendant there said it was a known issue and they STILL made us pay for most of the re-dry. I would avoid this place and go into Keaau. Better machines, more of them, and better hours. We just went here because it was a little bit closer. Not worth it."
