"The 50' Hoka Nui was clean, comfortable and efficient. The crew was friendly and professional. I wish we could have sailed more but with a near calm on the way out and a six knot Southerly returning, we could only sail for ten minutes before turning the engine back on. Our first snorkeling spot was good but the second stop in the Kealakekua Bay Marine Life Conservation District was spectacular."
"Absolutely amazing experience with an amazing captain and crew! We went on the afternoon snorkeling trip and 2 of my party discovered that they get sea sick and the crew was absolutely amazing with them! Suggesting tips and tricks and offering remedies, not making a fuss or making it seem like a big deal at all. The cove that we went to was gorgeous and we were greeted with dolphins during the blessing. The snorkeling was a once in a lifetime experience! As we boarded to head back the captain came and told us the story of Captain Cook. Snacks and drinks on the way back were greatly appreciated. Shaded seating on the boat (great for those who have had a bit too much fun in the sun), and steps to get in and out of the water make for an accessible and fun time for everyone. Would highly recommend!"
"ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The boat, the crew, the food, attention to detail, safety... the list goes on! My girlfriends and I wanted a day on the water with the hope of seeing some wildlife. Not only were there whales throughout the day, but dolphin, a giant manta during snorkeling and a whole range of tropical fish at both snorkel spots. The crew was excellent...super fun, engaged and so friendly! I'm a travel agent and I'm always looking for special opportunities for clients and Sea Paradise is exactly that... very special!!"
"Highly recommend the morning snorkel trip. The crew was incredible- filling the 5 hour trip with historical and cultural stories, safety tips, and humour. I didn't have much snorkeling experience but they helped me feel safe and comfortable. Make sure to take a noodle! The included food, beverage, and motion sickness ginger candy were great additions. The catamaran was very comfortable and I appreciated the sea sickness tips, which really helped me stay sickness-free. The group size was also really nice. It was around 35-40 people. Great memories, amazing fish and coral. And we saw 3 pods of whales- one only 50 feet away! Be sure to tip the crew at the end!"
"We did the early snorkel with the Manta Rays. I loved every minute of this excursion. From the beginning to the end, the crew informed us how things were going to go and stayed on schedule. They were fun, energetic, and you could tell they really love the mantas. Once in the water they continued to educate us on the particular mantas they see all the time and pointed out new comers too. The mantas are literally inches away from your face and keeping your camera close to your body is essential! We got some great pictures and had a lovely time. Would highly recommend doing this before leaving the big island!!"
