"I don't have the words for how amazing our whale watching trip was! Two juvenile humpbacks played around our boat for around 30 minutes and it was the most magical experience. This was my second time going out with Bob Marlin Charters (with Ge at the helm!) and I will book with them every time I am in the North Shore."

"Bob Marlin Charters provided a stellar whale watching experience. The captain promptly greeted us on the dock and got us comfortable on the beautiful, well appointed boat. Capt GE went over necessary safety precautions and allowed for questions and made sure our party was safe. He encouraged to utilize all the different vantage points on the boat to maximize viewpoints through the trip. We were immediately under way and no sooner had we left the harbor, we were greeted with a mother humpback and her calf breeching and pirouetting in the air. It is absolutely awe inspiring. Our captain was very knowledgeable about the migration patterns, habitat and behaviors of this beautiful species. He also knew how to approach these animals in a respectful and humane distance so that we could enjoy their majesty without encroaching on their territory and space. He even used sonography microphones to capture their whale song so we could listen to the communication in the pod. We were lucky enough to witness a humpback family frolick with a pod of dolphins and then some some Hawaiian Green Turtles entered the mix giving us a perfect trifecta of witnessing three beautiful species that have so much significance in Hawaiian culture."
