"I am terrible sorry to have to post this review. We rented this house to travel to Hawaii to have a wedding ceremony. This had been planned well in advance, in hopes that the pandemic would be over. Well just 6 weeks prior to our vacation, Covid numbers in Hawaii skyrocketed. The Governor of Hawaii issued a press release asking visitors to stay away and talking of potential lockdowns. So at the request of the Hawaian government we cancelled. We asked the owner for a full refund because of the special conditions. His reply was not the most caring and a little condesending not very representative of true Hawaiin Hospitality. He did refund half as promised but not certain fees. I would not stay here."

"The "natural" air conditioning is not nearly enough to keep cool inside the house in June. All of the vegetation around the house also cuts down on the breezes. If you are somewhat spoiled by air conditioning, you have to leave the house. Roosters are roaming all over and will do their thing at any and all hours of the day, not to mention the chickens clucking. And then there are the beach bums that sleep in tents close to the house and will come up to the house to use the outdoor shower. One threatened to kill us when we asked him to leave. It's a beautiful island, but I won't be staying here again."
