"Absolutely beautiful tour of the Waimea Canyon I had booked through Royal Caribbean. Near perfect, that is until Kaleo had to go and ruin it with poor direction and instruction. Darn near brought my wife to tears on our honeymoon with how he absolutely berated and embarrassed me AND another poor older gentleman, in front of the entire tour group, for an honest mistake due to HIS lack of communication. Kaleo started out as a funny, well spoken tour guide, but man does he have a hidden temper. Very unprofessional demeanor and could have handled the mistake in a much better way. All that had happened was me and the older gentleman got on the bus before he did (after he left it unattended, unsupervised, unlocked, and still running). All because we wanted to get out of the sun and find some shade after he parked in the middle of an open parking lot with limited shade around the area. He took a massive risk leaving his tour bus unlocked and easy to access. No instruction not to return to the bus before him, and we get berated and thoroughly embarrassed in front of everyone. Beware of Kaleo’s temper. If he makes a mistake, he will take it out on you and take no accountability for his own actions. Would be a 5/5 tour review, sadly had to knock it down a bit since the core memory of the tour was being belittled by Kaleo."
