"The staff employees who helped with maintenance were quite nice and helpful. However, the office staff are largely phones, especially Shauna. They love you when you move in. The few times I ever talked to them afterwards they did not like to be bothered. Although I had never been late with rent they sent the maintenance guy Dave to my apartment to watch me move out on the last day I had the apartment at the end of the day. I finally told him it would not be until about 7:00PM when I was done and he should just leave now as his presence was bothersome. (I had the apartment legally until that Midnight). He got the message and left. I did leave by 7:00 (who want to hang around a place you are moving out of? seriously!) and left the keys in the rent slot. Also, I got all of my deposit back. So, Shawna the phony, who has her friends write her reviews, did not get the last word."

"Sharlands Terrace was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a larger apartment at a reasonable price. The management is very attentive, and maintenance requests have been handled very quickly. While an "older" complex, they are well maintained. My only recommendation would be to remodel the kitchen."

"Hands down the best apartment complex in Reno. We have been here for 6 years, and have lived in every size unit they offer! They are all amazing. If you have any issues they are always available instantly to help you out or fix anything. AND they are always on the side of their tenants and looking out for the best of us. Apartments are clean and the grounds are always well kept. Jackie and Shawna are the best!"

"We have lived here for over 1 year now and LOVE it! Location is awesome. Excellent schools. Our apartment is modern and cozy, and the entire complex is lovely. From the friendly, professional staff to our neighbors, everything about this community makes us feel safe, welcomed and at home. Prompt maintenance assistance, mobile patrol security services. Shawna, the manager, is friendly and truly care about the residents. Amber and Jacqueline are very helpful and knowledgeable. The staff conducted social events like Halloween Pumpkin carving, Easter Egg hunt.. that were super awesome. My kids had a blast last summer spending all days by swimming pool and having fun at the playground. Great place to live and raise a family. Would highly recommend Sharlands Terrace."
