"Im no that person that just wants to be negative about someones work but man. I am utterly dismayed and stressed beyond words by my recent experience at the Walgreens pharmacy located at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Sahara Avenue. This was not my first negative encounter here, but it certainly was the most distressing. On a critical day, when timely medication was not just a convenience but a necessity due to my chronic pain from cancer, this pharmacy failed spectacularly. My medical provider sent my prescriptions in the morning around 11:00 AM. Expecting efficiency, I was instead told to return in two hours. I complied, only to be turned away again at 4 PM with a vague instruction to come back close to their closing time at 6:30 PM. The situation took a nosedive when, amidst my dinner, I received a message stating that my medication was out of stock. The distress this caused is indescribable. If this stock issue was known earlier in the day, why was I not informed? My doctor could have sent the prescription to another pharmacy, saving me hours of pain and anxiety. To add insult to injury, when I called for clarification, the response was cold and unhelpful. A curt statement about potential stock availability on Monday, followed by silence, is not what one expects from a pharmacy that is supposed to care for its customers' health and well-being. This experience has left me more than just disappointed; it has significantly impacted my health and peace of mind. Dealing with chronic pain is challenging enough without the added stress of unreliable pharmacy services. It's high time Walgreens evaluates and rectifies the functioning of this location. This is going to be a long horrible weekend. Thanks Walgreens pharmacy!"
