"I am a new customer with GNCU. Recently I went into the branch to gather some information on transfer limits, holds, etc. Joy and Edith were wonderful to work with and extremely helpful. I needed a letter from the bank and they provided it to me within minutes. They both have upbeat, professional, and positive demeanors. I’m beyond pleased with my decision to have joined GNCU."
"Very friendly staff and lots of personal and electronic services to help customers. The checking product is great, will save you money, and the cd specials are also very good. Every consumer should have a credit union account."
"Lucas W is the greatest, he is so supportive, professional and very helpful. Thank you for hiring great people. I wasted over 42 minutes over the phone this morning with customer service and no one could answer my question, I walk inside the bank and Lucas answered my question in less than a minute, his manager also came up to me and made time to speak with me. This is the best bank."
"I walked into the N branch of GNCU yesterday afternoon to withdraw some money from my account. There were four tellers at their windows. Two were busy helping customers. The others were assumably finishing up other business. I waited as one teller finished and walked away. I continued to wait. Nobody greeted me or said, “we will be with you in a minute”. One teller (Joy) was called over to help both the other tellers with customers with an override. I waited patiently. Upon her return to her window she continued working on her computer as I approached her and asked if she could help me. Her response, was “ I don’t know we will see”. I knew from my observation that she must be a supervisor which made me assume she was capable of helping me. As she did help me there was no “hello”, or “have a nice day” or “thank you”. Just unfriendly efficiency at that point. I stewed about my experience for 24 hours and decided to speak with a manager about it face to face. As I did so today Joy introduced herself as an assistant manager and the manager to her left. I said, “good maybe between both of them they could explain why I had received the kind of service I had. BTW at this time there is only one other member in the room and he was at the loan desk. I tried to explain my experience, Joy left to help a customer that had just arrived (rightly so although I had hoped she could help me better understand where she was coming from). I did not yell, but I was not quiet either as they began to receive more customers/members they asked me to step over “there”. I told them I was not really concerned if others overheard about my bad experience. The manager continued to apologize about my experience, they have new tellers and he can use this in training. He was sorry I was not greeted. I think it was more than that. I felt frustrated and got indignant that I was not being heard. I asked to understand better what the other teller’s tasks might have been so that I could rectify in my mind they were busy doing good things and I needed to be more patient. I was told that because he was not there that he did not know. Wouldn’t this have been a good time to ask Joy or the other teller that walked away. I was there today at the same time as yesterday - maybe that could spark a memory. I have been a member for 30 years and have not ever been displeased in this way with my service. What is happening? I hope this is not a trend. I hope to not have to find another financial institution. One star for this experience!"
"Wish I could give a negative rating. Was considering this bank but quickly reconsidered & I think the internet should know. This bank will continuously charge you overdraft fees and will not reimburse you for such incidents. One accidental charge that causes you to overdraft your account can cost you $100. I’ve had two friends now tell me that even after multiple calls and emails the bank was unforgiving and unwilling to work with them. Both friends have since closed out the accounts. Greater NV Credit Union, if you’re reading this, evolve or die. We’re living in a time where consumers have many options to choose from, and your options suck."
