Reviews
"This hike took us 9 hours. We stopped a lot to take it all in. It’s is absolutely gorgeous and treacherous. There are numerous water crossings on slippery rocks and very tight deeply muddy paths. If you have any balance issues, this hike is not for you. If you are not used to hiking just do the 2 miles each way to the beach. Going all the way? We advise: 1. Waterproof hiking boots with new gripping 2. Lots of protein snacks and extra water 3. Change of clothes (socks and shorts at least) in waterproof backpack 4. Rain jacket 5. Hiking stick!!! Lots are left at trail start. Can’t imagine not having one."
"Make sure you have a trail map to reference because the sign points to the trail prematurely and will lead you on an upriver journey more difficult and time-consuming than you most likely have time for"
"This trail is for experienced hikers. It was very challenging. You will go through lots of rocks, cross through water and mud a few times and it’s 4 miles to the base of the water fall an additional 1.5 to the actual water fall. The last mile is all rock climbing but when you get there it’s absolutely beautiful! I swam in the water and it’s freezing cold. Round trip it was 11.1 miles and it took us 8 hours. There are several spots along the way that offer amazing views and photo opportunities."
"It is a very nice waterfall, however trail itself very unpleasant, muddy and difficult. Not worth it."
"Top trail. Gorgeous and fewer crowds than at the beach. 8-9 miles and relatively flat. It's not as bad as the other reviews will tell you, you can do it and it's worth it!"
