Reviews of Inn at Nakoma Resort
"We did not stay at Nakoma. We love to golf and happened upon Nakoma so we wanted to check it out. This property offers high end accommodations from our tour. You will not be bored for a minute with all they offer. Looking forward to staying and playing in the near future."
"This place is spectacular. Although I'm in California for work, I've been blessed to be staying in some wonderful spaces. This one will remain in my top handful. The only thing I could even begin to complain about is all centered around food. Unfortunately there is no breakfast offered. Which is disappointing ( I work overnight and when we get back to our rooms and breakfast is available we can eat without fuss is appreciated) but, to top it off the didn't even have Microwaves in the rooms. That all being said the rooms are so luxurious and the ground are vast and beautiful with mupitle trails for your hiking enjoyment."
"What a disappointment. For the money I expected a little more. No lounge or cafe on premises. Website says 20% discount for midweek stay. No only if you book online and push a special button . Room was okay. Have in better at Embassy Suites and Best Western. As for the room. Advertise two . One with a golf course view. Got to the room. Looked out the small patio and saw a patch of green for putting and pitching. You can look through some trees and see very small portion of golf course. Our friends got a forest view room. Ha, they got a view of the the doggie run, and patch of dirt with a construction trailer on it. Oh yeah there was trees behind it. Would not recommend this place for the money."
"Just checked in today for 3 nights. Google search of this resort said that breakfast is included which is not accurate. Only coffee is free. During the winter months, breakfast is served only from 8am in the Altitude rec center and the menu options are pretty limited. And during the weekdays, the entire place shuts down at 7pm. The steam shower room is still not in operation. Otherwise, the rooms are comfortable, the outdoor heated pool is divine snd dinner at the Fifty 44 restaurant was excellent. Thus the 4 star rating. Sharing so others know what to expect when staying there during the winter. Quiet with minimal services."
"Went golfing here. The building is very nice and I could see that they are building what appears to be a large rec center on the other side of the grounds. Judging off the overall feel and look of what the resort already has, I'm sure the new addition will be very nice. The golfing was great. The course was challenging and in great shape! Soft and fast greens are always fun to play on. It's definitely a course you have to ride in a cart for. Very hilly and some stretches between holes make for a longer (but still enjoyable) experience. Being tucked away in the trees, you will likely end up seeing plenty of wildlife while visiting as well. Saw over 15 deer and too many squirrels and pretty birds to count. Bringing a camera is always a good idea. Lots of opportunities to capture views and wildlife! Also noticed several homes for sale around the golf course so if you're looking for a new home, maybe an investment opportunity, or perhaps a vacation house, be sure to check them out while visiting."
