Reviews of Keiki Beach Queen's Bath
"No foot or car access from kona Beach drive. By foot, climb over wall behind baseball field, then use shore access in wall between ball fields. By car park near tennis courts on ocean side and then go thru shore access."
"This little bay us protected from the surf so it is good for kids. There is a sandy beach but not much shade. There are lots of sea urchins so wear shoes and watch kids. Unfortunately not many tropical fish - at least not the day we were there in early February."
"Very cool place to swim with the kids! Shallow waters barricaded by lava rock and we seen a mama whale and her baby breech the water while we were swimming very close on the other side of the lava rock! The kids seen lots of wildlife in the tide pools. The hike to get there across the baseball fields looks questionable and is sort of hard to scope out but a quick research online will help you get there confidently."
"Amazing spot, but definitely not straightforward to find. I’m so happy someone else posted directions (park at the gym & walk across the field) because we would not have found it otherwise. Great place to take littles to see tide pools. We got there early and we left around 9:30 which is when a huge crowd started arriving."
"Beautiful beach. Mostly lava rock with tidal pools. Doesn't seem like the best swimming area but you can see lots of aquatic life! Public access is behind the aquatic center and you have to walk across the soccer field. There's a little path behind the houses. It's a short easy distance and there are signs."
