"Nice beach with a view. We arrived when it started to rain so we couldn’t go into the water. There were some covered picnic tables and we decided to have lunch there. Plenty of parking around and porta potties available."

"Small black sand beach park in Hana. The park provides picnic area with tables and benches, showers, restrooms. There are decent amount of parking for visitors. The beach is calm and swimmable. Keep driving forward to the right side of the park, where it leads to an abandoned pier with view of lava cliff and its lustful green."

"Beautiful and worth the stop and entrance fee. Could be a destination by itself, but we wanted to finish the drive to Hana. Bathrooms, picnic areas, easy hikes, plenty of informational signage. Discounts offered for families of 5 or more, military, first responders."

"Beautiful and peaceful place. Very clean with many local families enjoying the ocean and park. There is a nice boat ramp as well."
