Alaka’i Na Keiki

"If I could give 0 stars, I would. With 7 years of experience as an RBT, I have found this company to be the worst I’ve ever worked for—across any profession. If you are merely seeking a paycheck, then this company would be a great fit. However, if you expect support, guidance, and genuine care for the well-being of employees or students, this is not the company for you. My experience is of someone who worked in the DOE under ANK not their clinic. I am unsure why Maria is 1 of 2 admins we are able to contact as she is a poor representation of the ABA field. Working for ANK has made me consider leaving the field all together while there is a very high need for skilled RBTs. It’s unfortunate because I genuinely love what I do! Considering that HR stands for Human Resources, one would expect her to fulfill that role. Sadly, instead of providing support, you will often find yourself being talked down to and minimized in most conversations with her. I don’t think she even likes her job and seems to be burdened by most questions asked of her and rarely fully or clearly answers anything. She will even go as far as to distort the truth or withhold information in order to exercise her “power” over you. Never will she take accountability for her own actions or a genuine interest in your concerns. Due to her lack of any kind of compassion or communication skills she put all parties (myself, the child and the DOE) in a tough position that could have been avoided through open communication and collaboration. I have never in my life had administration refuse to answer or return my call over a very sensitive situation. The saddest part is that, at the end of the day, the child loses out because how can you “Alaka’i na Keiki” when you don’t provide thoughtful and considerate support to the ones who work directly with the kids? If you are seeking to work for a company that cares about you and has a clear mission to make a difference by fostering good relationships, LOOK ELSEWHERE!"

"called to see if I can get my son on ABA service, the lady who answered the phone was so rude, one of the worst I had encountered. She said in a rude tone we are not taking any new patient. I asked can I place my son on the wait list, she replied with the same stuck up/rude tone saying the wait is 2 years. I said can I put my son on the wait list, she said you can call back in 6 months then hung up. Do not waste time or money on this place, don't trust a service who can't treat people politely to treat your kid."
