"Terrible experience here. Upon entering for my very first appointment (regular cleaning and exam), they asked for payment before even having me fill out a form or get any sort of information. Front desk staff seems really inexperienced and unprofessional. I had my exam, and the dental assistant was super nice and sweet. X-rays and everything were fine and she explained everything really well. The dentist was fine and explained things well too. Then it was on to the cleaning. The dental hygienist was not very sensitive to the fact that I don't like having people scrape and prode around my mouth (does anyone like this?!). She talked a ton about pointless stuff about her personal life. I'm not trying to be rude, but I'm also just trying to get my dental work done, lady! Then like 4 teeth into the cleaning she was like "time's up." Apparently my appointment time had run out and I'd have to come back to finish my cleaning. Are you kidding me?! It's not my fault you didn't schedule enough time?! Then, when I was ushered out to the front desk, there must've been some communication issues amongst the front desk staff and the hygienist, because there were literally arguing in front of me if the dr would authorize another appointment and how payment would work. So basically, I paid cash (upfront) for an appointment that was never completed. I honestly prefer to just never go back. Lastly, the quoted me for some work I needed done as per the exam, which was very high priced, in my experience. The front desk told me, "well, our rent is really high to be in this location, so our prices are higher." Like... what? Just very unprofessional all around."

"Formal complaint filed For starters I was given wrong information on the phone of what to bring to the office which delayed my check in. They were having issues with confirming my insurance which they then charged my credit card $99 dollars then refunded it when the finally straightened out the insurance. Following X-rays I was asked if the doctor saw me yet, which he had not. They decided to use the time to schedule my next appointment. (Not happening!) When the dental hygienist finally arrived she asked again if the doctor had been in to see me which he had not. She said then we’ll do the cleaning and he’ll meet with you after. It was the most painful cleans I’ve ever had. I hadn’t had a cleaning in a year or two due to buying a new place moving and taking a promo at work. So I knew I may have plaque built up. I brush and floss regularly. But I was never asked once by “Yul” (Not sure of spelling) about the pain or discomfort. Just was told that I was bleeding a lot. The cherry on top which triggered the formal complaint was Dr Cecil Riter decided to leave for lunch and left me bleeding and in pain in the patient chair. I heard the staff trying to call him 4-5 times with no response. I literally had to remove myself from the medical equipment and chair, gathered my belongings and left. I confirmed with staff that the doctor had left his patient in the chair for lunch and is not responding to calls from his own office staff before leaving finally 2 hours later."

"I have gone to this dentist location since it was called The Tooth Surfer circa 2009... Times have changed. They provide state of the art, high technology services but the personalized care has gone out the window. In fact my last 2 scheduled cleanings were cancelled without my knowledge simply because I had opted out of their auto-text messaging. Go here if you want the latest technology care, don't go here if you actually want to know your dentist or hygienist."
