"Kind people and a beautiful facility! We will be volunteering here to help out with all the precious animals. We are so happy with the new additions to our family!"
"This is a wonderful site. There are 2 dog parks, one for small dogs and another for the large dogs. Plenty of parking. There are restrooms. The facilities for the animals are great including water in both parks The staff is very friendly. They are always looking for volunteers, so if you have some time to give, this is a great place to go! Just remember it's closed on Tuesday and Thursday."
"One of the best humane society organizations I've ever experienced. I took a beautiful pup on a field trip for the day. It's a great experience for adopters and for the fur baby. He was adopted shortly after our field trip. Excellent and caring staff too!"
"Humane Society is my hero! I am a senior with less income than I used to have and wanted to spay my female dog, to ensure no more puppies. The Vet wanted around $500, which I just couldn't afford. Humane Society to the rescue! For a $50 donation, I could get my fur baby, Phoebe, spayed. I was able to donate more than $50, but was so grateful for the fabulous, caring, professional services. Spay coordinators Rhanie and Aimee, took care of all the details, and were so warm and caring, and tenderly cradled my fog, before and after surgery. All the staff and volunteers were truly fabulous. And the Humane Society campus is so beautiful...from the dog parks to the Welcome and Education Center. It was exciting to see the hospital, under construction, too. Our Humane Society provides so many great services, and I am proud to be a supporter!"
"We were visiting from the mainland and wanted to take a dog from the shelter on a field trip. If you can, do it. Its rewarding to be able to take a pup out on an adventure help them socialize and hopefully get noticed for an adoption. Also if your missing your doggo while on vacation it helps satisfy that until you can get back to your pup. We took our Melody. She was mellow and peaceful. Never once barked and was a lover, hopefully she gets adopted soon. The facility was amazing. They are doing great things on the big island!"
