"Maui Flight Academy was an incredible experience from beginning to end. I surprised my now fiancé with her first flight training the morning of our engagement day, and Laurence went above and beyond for her special day, he is a true professional and an overall wonderful guy. If you’re interested in flying but nervous about the experience, please don’t be, we wouldn’t trade the experience for the world and any nerves were immediately alleviated by Laurence’s calm yet attentive demeanor. We saw Maui in ways you simply cannot in see any other way and we feel blessed to have had the opportunity. Don’t just take the flight! If you would like to properly memorialize the experience and your time on Maui, which I strongly suggest you do, Laurence is an excellent photographer. Even if you don’t fly, their other business, Wailea Photo, is a great way to celebrate an occasion or just your time on Maui. As an amateur photographer I can say all of their equipment is top notch, but go a step further and ask about the FujiFilm GFX 100s, trust me! "I was a visiting pilot with 0 Cirrus time. My wife and I will definitely be back to fly with Maui Flight Academy. Everything from the initial inquiry to the conclusion of our flight was first class. Regina suggested the Fab 4 flight for us, and it was incredible. The SR22 is gorgeous and such a smooth ride. Laurence is an amazing instructor and does a great job explaining everything while also being an encyclopedia of knowledge regarding the area. "Just had the most epic experience flying with Laurence at maui flight academy. We had zero flight experience and he had us taking off and landing within 30 minutes. This guy is no joke! The plane was super safe, he had full control at any given time and we had an absolute ball. The views were exceptional and you can optionally purchase a video of you flying, If you’d like! Way better than a helicopter tour—fly the plane yourself! A must do maui experience!"

"A truly unforgettable experience for myself and my wife. As a private pilot, Laurence was an amazing instructor and tour guide at the same time. The plane is perfectly maintained and flys beautifully. We got to fly at low altitude past endless waterfalls, land at breathtaking runways, and overfly an active volcano vent. How do you beat that!? I would highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to sight-see the best of Hawaii while getting to fly a plane! There really is nothing like it."
