"Maui pain clinic is amazing Dr Scott Smith is a wonderful doctor who truly cares about his patients. He took time to explain to me what exactly was going on with my injuries and the options I had to help my condition. He reviewed my MRI with me explains what was going on and what needed to happen to get me feeling better. I highly recommend Dr Scott at Maui pain clinic. Melissa front desk is a complete joy. So very positive, respectful and always happy and smiling. You can truly tell she loves her job. Sue has been an awesome addition to my care. Even know I have been to Physical Therapy many times in my life she made sure to understand what I was feeling and took time to explain how and why we were working on the areas and the degree of treatment to achieve my goals. Again has given me hope. Thank you all. Maui pain is complete treatment for anyone who is experiences pain and wants to live again not just exist in pain."

"Dr Scott Smith was the best Dr I have had the pleasure to meet in my life! I would rate him 10 stars! Being in chronic pain for the first time in my life was scary, depressing, and left me in a very vulnerable state. I knew nothing about pain or how to manage it and felt no one understood what I was going through or cared. From my first visit, I felt immediate relief. He treated me with genuine sincerity and for the first time, I felt hopeful and that I had someone on my team. He was a godsend. The most down to earth, kind, knowledgeable person I have ever encountered in the medical field. I always left there feeling uplifted and supported. Melissa who works at the front desk for him was an angel as well. This woman works her butt off trying to accommodate everyone in an environment that can be hectic with all the unexpected factors that are sometimes beyond her control. She does her very best to keep it all together and I am eternally grateful for her. Brittany is another gem that works in the procedure office. The pain centers on Maui are clearly overloaded with cases as there just isn’t enough help to accommodate everyone here on the island. Be patient with them as they are doing their best under the circumstances. The only reason I did not give Maui Pain Clinic as a whole 5 stars is because of the horrendous experience I had with Dr James Van Natta. If you need any procedure, DO NOT SEE HIM! There are other doctors on the team that are a night and day difference to see even if you have to wait longer! He is an exceptionally horrible excuse for a Dr and should not be practicing but he gets away with it as some people desperate for relief have no choice."

"I really enjoy going to my appointments. Each of the staff are very friendly and I love my provider who really listens to me and has referred me out to other health care facilities to get to the root of what's causing my pain. It's a bummer to go thru the monthly screening, but not the fault of the pain clinic but of the DEA. I'm truly sorry that the physicians on Maui (and everywhere, I'm told) are afraid to prescribe pain meds even to people who truly have a legitimate pain. I'm so glad that Maui Pain Clinic is here on the island. Way to go Irwin and everyone who works there!"
