"The only good experience I’ve had with Island Palm is when I have zero interaction. I find that every time I get a call or knock, it’s some new fiasco that’s now my problem. I’ve had weeks without trash pickup. I’ve been cited for holiday decor I didn’t have. Ive had work orders take 2 weeks to start. I’ve even received citations for the unit next door! On top of all this, the leasing company hasn’t actually read their own lease. They have tried to enforce policies with no legal precedent in my lease. I would know because I had to memorize it just for the occasion. I’m one of the lucky ones who had business contacts higher up that were able to actually be of use. All this for a unit with a “landlord-special” paint job over my light fixtures. Don’t get me started on the constant power outages. My advice is to find a different community, off post, that will be nicer for the same exact outrageous price."
