"You’re not going to want to leave. We stayed in the quaint and comfy Library Room. So much character and quality linens. Details, details…so comfortable. Chef Nic and Ari’s breakfast menu and conversations with the owner, Jaqueline, are wonderful, fond memories!"
"There are not enough words to express the gratitude I have for staying at this adorable Bed & Breakfast! The lovely owner, Jacqueline, is a true gem and the two inn keepers are an amazing couple from MN, one of which is a former chef who makes an amazing breakfast! Highly recommend putting this on your list of places to stay! I booked for 1 night but ended up staying 3! Thank you all for such a great time! Feeling grateful! - Leah"
"A wonderful place that you won't forget. Peaceful, quiet (except for frogs), nice spacious rooms, and amazing service. Breakfasts were fantastic, surprising us each morning with an assortment of fresh fruit, freshly baked goods (scones), and other creations (souffle etc). The hosts are all really friendly, interesting to talk to, and have tons of helpful tips (from places to eat, all of which were great, to parks to visit, etc). We loved this place and the time we had there!"
"We came here last summer based on the recommendation of my girlfriend’s parents (who stayed with Jacqueline back in the ‘90’s). Jacqueline’s hospitality hasn’t changed a bit since their visit thirty years ago, as we were treated to delicious breakfasts and thoughtful touches, like cacao nibs when Jacqueline heard we were headed up the volcano (helps with the altitude, apparently!). Would recommend to anyone traveling this side of the Big Island."
"Authentic, confortable, charming and beautiful place, fantastic garden. Jacqueline breakfast is delicious (organic fruits from nearby gardens, gluten free brownies...). Kids enjoyed the cats, the library, were allowed to wander and discover the house, we learned more about Big Island History in one evening than during the entire trip ....Not enough stars to accurately rate. We will come back again and again and again."
