"Highly recommend Moose and his team for bike rentals at Krank. We rode “deltoid” and “gus” up Haleakala. A gisnt and bmc respectively, they handled beautifully and the electronic shifting was dialed. Absolutely no issues with pick up, drop off, and the function. Brakes were fab on the descent as well. Bike bag came with a tube, 2CO2, valve, levers, and multi tool. Great price too considering the quality of bikes. Friendly service and clean uncluttered bike shop (not what I’m used to back home). Highly recommend. Remember your own pedals! They even offered to toss on for us."
"We rented some road bikes from Krank, the customer experience was terrible. The shop was supposed to open at 10am, the guy showed up at 10:24am after we had to call. We were able to rent only once because the other days they couldn’t tell us what was available or not. Once we came in the morning to book for the next day but the guy told us he didn’t know if he would be there at 3:30pm even though the shop is closing at 5pm. We got two orbea road bikes that were in good condition."
"Customer service was so-so. The shop worker kept taking phone calls in the middle of us renting our bikes. We could have gotten our bikes in less than 10 minutes and it took over 30 minutes. Also the worker brought up politics and when we disagreed with him he became angry. Very unprofessional. The bikes were in really good condition but it was a hassle to get them"
"Krank cycles is an awesome bike rental place. I rented a road bike (BMC Roadmachine Force AXS, size 58) from their airport location. Picking up is very convenient as their shop is minutes from the airport. They also provide bike racks (for an extra charge) so you can just pick up and go. The bike was in excellent condition, rides very smooth and comfortable. The 33-36 max gear ratio certainly helps with the climbing. Would highly recommend."
"Great shop and service and prices!! We got bikes that were high quality and in great working order along with helmets and a seat bag with all the essentials. Bikes were sweet up with our pedals and we had a flawless ride up Mt Haleakala. Thanks to the guys at Kranks!!"
