"Going in here is like dealing with a street vendor in Tijuana. The older lady working there was a complete troll. Both my wife and I walked in with Maui Jim’s - intent on buying two more pairs, but her hyper aggressive sales tactics, high pressure push - and downright rude demeanor were an immense put off. We’ve been buying sunglasses literally every year from this place (from the owner Walter) for almost a decade - but no more. We’ll never go back. Just look at the horrible responses they’ve made to other peoples reviews here on google. Go back under your bridge troll lady. Never have we dealt with a miserable human being selling a premium product. We went across the street and south a few stores to Lahaina Sunglass company and bought the sunglasses there. When we told him about the horrible experience we had here, he laughed and said they are his biggest marketing tool, as he hears this daily."

"I have double vision and wanted prescription Maui Jim sunglasses. I tried on a lot of frames and narrowed my choices to 2. Stephanie, the optician at the Sunglasses boutique, helped me make the final choice including which sunglasses color was best. She got approval for my prescription and said The glasses would be available in a week. Awesome! Then there was a glitch with my prescription due to too high a prism. Steve, the shop owner, contacted me with the bad news. However he was willing to accept a new prescription from my home optometrist. My optometrist agreed as he had prescribed a lower prisim originally. Just 5 days after my new prescription was faxed Stephanie called me to pick up my new glasses. They are great.
