Sands of Kahana

"This place exceeded my expectations in several ways. The rooms are clean and very spacious (about 1600 square feet) with lovely views of the ocean. The staff is attentive, friendly and welcoming. No air conditioning but the ocean breeze kept the rooms comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!"

"No idea what their service is like, but I do know that they do not treat vendors well. They have had open invoices with one vendor in particular for months and months (small business, no less) and they refuse to even communicate with them, let alone pay them. I would strongly encourage you to do your research and, perhaps, choose to utilize a business that not only provides great service but treats vendors fairly and respectfully."

"We had a very spacious 3bd for a week. It is right on the beach and the grounds were upkept daily. Our unit could have used a good cleaning as many surfaces in the kitchen were dirty. There were only 2 bowls with lids for leftover food. Other than that, the kitchen had most of what we needed. The beds were well worn in but had comfortable pillows. Sheets were not soft at all. There were a lot of extra towels and a full sized washer and dryer. There was no air conditioning, but our unit had a nice breeze that came through. Most windows did not have screens on them. Our unit also had old commercial carpeting, which is not preferred. All staff were friendly. Food at the Beach House restaurant was so-so."

"2 bedroom unit was perfect for 6 adults. Could easily fit 8 if kids were part of the group. Having a kitchen with all the utensils and cookware needed was a bonus. Beach had turtles every second day and good swimming. There are two pools here but I never used them. Had some issues with our hot water tank and some plumbing but it was fixed very quickly by the Team here. Would recommend."

"Sands of Kahana was a gem. We stayed a week in a 3 Bedroom condo which was perfect for the 5 adults and 3 children. The condo was well stocked with essentials. The pools and beach were fantastic. Enough chairs for everyone. Food at the restaurant/bar was good, but wish we could have taken drinks to the pool or beach. Mahalo!"
