"I looked at several storage facilities in my neighborhood seeking safety convenience and staff professionalism. When I came back to the top two choices, the manager of Golden State Storage remembered providing me with a tour months earlier. I was empowered with independence of accessing the property with my phone. I was able to open and close the gates. Access gates were always securely closed and there were never any maintenance issues with in and out access gates. I was able to access my storage with my phone. There were cameras on site. The property is always clean. The office has clear windows to see inside and an attendant on site to help troubleshoot with any issues. I was able to provide someone I trusted with the app because I once forgot my phone in my storage and that was a plus. The manager was always available and approachable. He is actively providing maintenance to the site and shows that he cares. There were never any loiters on site and moving trucks never impeded the access to my unit. I was able to sign a moth to month contract with the option of prorate if I decided to move out of my storage before the next online payment was made. I was provided with same day access to my storage unit. I had the option of property insurance rates of valuable items and was provided with feedback on what to do if in fact items may be missing. My phone alerted me with notifications, anytime my storage was accessed by me or the person I granted virtual access to. While I was at work, my unit was accessed without prior notification from the person I granted virtual access to and an alert was made so that I could take action to follow up. I am very pleased with the overall experience and professionalism of the manager with any and all concerns. I felt valued as a human being and treated like family. He never showed inconvenience with any of my concerns from day one to months later when I released my unit. He was always fully present, calm and not in a hurry to get on with what he is doing at those times I visited. He brings life to this facility and learning that he was a military veteran presents itself through all his action’s. He takes pride, not only with the property but with respect to privacy of what I had and why I needed this unit for my personal transition. Darin Floyd at Golden State Storage - Blue Diamond is the heart of that location and even if I lived on the east side, I would choose this facility with no hesitation. "Very easy to get a unit at a reasonable cost. Forgot your combination or lost your key to the lock on your unit? No more worries, entry to the facility and your unit is ALL controlled with an app on your phone. You can even remotely let someone else in your unit. Very convenient. Staff is very knowledgeable and polite. Best place ever!"
