"Patient and courteous service. May not be the cheapest available but they might have something in stock where your local dealer may not (which was our case) but it is nice to have someone explain to you things and also let you try the different ukeleles vs an online store. Do be aware that buying a ukelele in Hawaii does NOT qualify as a free carry-on on any airline as the sales staff mentioned."

"This is the only place in Kauai, to get your ukuleles.. my wife and I went into this place just to look. They had all kinds of beautiful ukuleles. Starting with beginner ukuleles, all the way up to high-end KOA. After walking around for about a half an hour I noticed my wife is talking to a lady behind the counter. And on the counter is two ukuleles. With cases. And music. My wife tells me we're just looking! And she's the one purchasing the ukuleles. Very satisfied with our purchase love the people."
"This review is long overdue. I want to start by saying that we are so happy that we stopped by Scotty’s Music House. We met the most genuine, generous, and kind manager who was truly knowledgeable, passionate. The other guy was also very nice and helpful to my sister. Our trip to Hawaii was seven days long and my sister has been dying to buy her ukulele and it must be faith that brought us here because out of all the ones we’ve crossed this was the one we ended up to on our last day in Hawaii. I swear we were in here for a few hours just talking to the manager and let me say that our family was beyond pleased that we happen to come across this place. We came for one ukulele and ended up with three. My son and my niece were so excited to have their very first ukulele. I can keep writing great things about our experience in this store, I’ll sum it up by saying that the people who works hands down made our trip to Hawaii memorable. If you are ever in Princeville please come and support this store. I promise you’ll be glad you did."
