"Decent review. The store looks as if it has not been renewed since 10 years ago. The carpets look outdated, but the workers and cashiers at this store are nice. I should have put a 5-star review but it is 3 stars because the store looks outdated, and needs a bit of renewing. It’s sad how less people are coming to this store, I saw it the last time I came here. Also, it is almost closing, so farewell to Macy’s. Thank you Macy’s for standing here for lots of years, I made lots of memories buying clothes here."

"Three stars because the staff are really nice and do their very best to keep this store neat. They seem to have a lot of pride. Sadly, Macy's corporate has clearly put zero investment into this shop for years. As a result it looks shabby and is very old fashioned. The upshot is a very dispiriting shopping experience with broken fixtures, leaky ceilings and so forth."

"I wept when I walked into this Macy's. It is comprised of two separate buildings: Women's and Kids; Men's and Home Store. This store is depressing. It looks as if it has not been remodeled since the 1960s. Who knows...maybe this is one of their stores targeted for Mass closure. It definitely requires a refresh to get it into the 21st century. Of course, there is virtually no retail competition on the island of Kauai, so they can get away with keeping this store looking so dismal."

"Small Macy's compared to the Mainland or Ala Moana, but large enough to get your basic Macy's shopping fix. Be sure to use the Macy's coupons. They can be used on Tommy Bahama for example. Prices are the same as the Mainland so it's like getting an additional discount on the top of the sale price because Hawaii State tax is around 4.1% and in the SF Bay Area it's over 9.25%. I stock up on MAC Cosmetics here when you do the tax math. Clerks are friendly and helpful. 8/23/2017 Update: MAC Cosmetics does have makeup appointments. LIke the mainland, you can make an appointment ahead of time for special occasions, such as prom or weddings. Surprisingly, good size baby and children's clothing area with great sale prices too! And there are diaper changing tables in BOTH the men's and women's restrooms."
