"The shop looked very nice with a good array of products. The lady who checked us out was terrible. She hurried us though the process as if we were an inconvenience. My wife asked her a question about how a product was made to which she replied in a sharp tone, single word answer, and condescending manner. Nice shop tainted by apathy, rudeness, and lack of human connection."

"Nice gifts and souvenirs, however the lady working there essentially ran us out due to making us feel unwelcome. My husband and I walked in with our kids and my son was simply standing within three feet of us not touching a thing and the lady came over and asked him in a loud condescending tone where his parents were. My husband and I said “we are right here, he’s with us.” She shot us a dirty look as if he did something wrong. We kept looking for a gift to bring home, when of course one of my kids touched a toy like magnet (at children’s eye level).. it fell off the magnet display but didn’t break. The lady shot right back over and said “Maybe let’s just not touch anything, ok?” Eek! Never have I ever been treated that way in a store with my kids."

"My 7 yrs old daughter went in the shop with her dad and looking to buy some small size gifts . After a while I saw a sad face coming out from Hula moon. She was told not to touch anything by the sales women who is not friendly at all. How can you expect people to buy staff by not even touch it at all! As a tourist , we are so disappointed how they treat family with kids! Doesn't have any aloha spirit at all!"

"Would not recommend this place after my experience. I went in and looked around and bit and didn't see what I was looking for so I asked this older lady that was pricing items at the register. (I asked if she had any wood turtles with "Kauai" written on them) She seemed bothered I interrupted what she was doing. She proceeded to show me all sorts of stuff EXCEPT what I was asking for. When I asked again she replied "I have lots of stuff with Kauai on it." I replied yes, but do you have any wood turtles with Kauai. I guess she was fed up so she muttered I was being too demanding and walked off. "GREAT" customer service at this place....or maybe because I wasn't caucasian so she didn't care to assist me. Either way, I purchased all my gifts elsewhere."
