Avellino Park

"I’ll park small but kids love it. We have our flag football practice here in the large field. It’s large enough to have several teams practicing at a time. They have several basketball ball courts, a trail to walk around that’s lit at night. Great for dog walks. The restrooms are just as you would expect for a park blah but work."

"Over the past few months not as well maintained as it was the last few years. Many dead plants removed. Not replaced.Plants not well prunned or base succers of trees and bushes not removed. Trash is not picked up daily on the perimeter and leaves and dead branches also not removed timely."

"Don't take your children here. It's mainly for teens to hang out. The bathrooms are horrendous, a teenage boy walked in peed in the womens stalls ON THE WALL and left. There's graffiti EVERYWHERE especially on the little kids side. It's so sticky literally anywhere you touch to climb is just sticky. I didn't want to write bad about a park but this one for a HENDERSON community area is just nasty. Definitely not coming back."

"This is an ok park not really kid friendly, teenagers hang out here often. It has a little kid playground, a big kid playground, and swings."

"Nice, clean park with wide sidewalks around it in a quiet and family oriented neighborhood. Basketball court, playground for lil bitty kids and one for lil older kids. Open space to run around. Concrete picnic tables under cover. Clean restrooms with no stall doors, probably for crime prevention? Great neighborhood park overall. Perfect for a picnic or to tire out the kids for naptime."
