"Found items I needed. Was unable to purchase everything because they were only taking cash and I only had 6 dollars. It was corrected 2 days later."
"Love their selection the only problem is check out lines are always long"
"Unpleasant experience! Messy unfortunately this BUSINESSlacks professionalism & time management out the door and lets not forget the racism behind closed doors whom continually hire within their managers standards as a business franchise it is unfortunate & a shame to have one register open ! To be exact this place is ready to take your money and treat you poorly to high paying customers!! In fact take your hard working money elsewhere."
"First time here. The area seems very calm and quiet. The manager talked to a lot of customers in a friendly manner. I asked a question to a stocking clerk in the cleaning solutions aisle and she was very short in her answer. At check out, the clerk. Maria, scanned the same can of cat food for my 16 cans. After loading up my car, I had a feeling to check the receipt since I live near downtown LA. I counted the cabs scanned on the receipt and was surprised Maria charged me for 19 cans. One of two over would be kinda expected, but 3? So I went inside with just my receipt since I had already taken all my purchases to my car. I let Maria know what happened and she went over to the manager. I explained to the manager what happened and he wanted me to carry my cans back inside. I don't want to disclose my medical conditions but I have a handicap placard in my card. Other than that reason, I thought it was absurd to bring all the cans back in when Maria scanned one can for all of the the rest; and if I was trying to pull a fast one, I would have left cans in my car to collaborate what I said. So I took all my cans inside and the rest of my purchases for that transaction just in case the manager was going to nick pick about checking the whole transaction. I put my bags over a display of bottled water and waited for him to finish charging customers. He came over and as he removed and placed items on the display, he counted the cans. Because the manager had said he wanted to "match up the cans," I asked Maria to let him know that she scanned one can for the rest. The manager just wanted to count them. And Maria responded with, "he's the manager," or something like that. I told him that I thought he was going to match up the bar codes. He gave the money because he could not put it back onto my debit card. There was no receipt for the refund. I'm assuming he didn't ring it up, which to me is a red flag. I have 20 years of retail experience myself. I asked for my receipt back as I was going to be paid back for those items. Now I have to let the person know to deduct three cans off the receipt, as they check very thoroughly. The manager walked over to the vacant register counter closest to the door and handed me the receipt, thanked me and walked away. He also said something about giving an extra 10 cents or something. I guess that's what my time is worth. I was so confused by the fact that I was overcharged but I was made to feel like I was trying to steal from them. I put everything back that the manager took out of my bags and loaded up my car again. And I spent 20 minutes writing this. Yep, those 10 cents really helped with all the time I wasted. This is place is great if they know you. Beware of cashier scanning one item for multiples instead of scanning each item individually."
"I love going around 7 to 8 because the stores not usually so busy. The store is great for my 2 year old. There are alot of education toys and products. Lots of many different items for children all over the place. I love being able to explore which type of toys or education items she may go towards without breaking the bank. The employees are always conversational and helpful. On this trip we got some string and letter blocks for the baby to start learning letters more.i recommend having a fun time here buying small items. Edit:Took 4 stars away because of the horrible employee.. The store wasn't busy and our now 3yr old had to potty, quickly but because i shop here regularly, we decided to come here and buy some items while baby goes potty. We didn't stop at Ralph's, McDonald's or anywhere, just to dollar tree. We were showing shopper loyalty. The employee was talking personal with the person at the register and I waited for convo to end, while wife was quickly walking baby to bathroom before we had an accident but the employee said, rudely with a NASTY ATTITUDE, "You're gonna have to wait!!! Plus,I don't know where it is,so I'll have to find it". So screw her and dollar tree!!! I spent at least $25 every Monday night after my meeting for over a year AND NOT ANYMORE!!! I take my mom and other elderly people shopping AND Guess what!? I'm not bringing them here either!!!! I ran to get wife and we ran across parking lot to McDonald's and spent our money there. Dollar tree you suck!!! We came to you during a pandemic because it felt a safer place to go with my family but obviously, that was a wrong assumption. BYE!!!"
