Planned Parenthood - Honolulu Health Center

"I went to Planned Parenthood today for an annual visit. The nursing provider Jill M was far from professional. It started when she yelled at my fiancé for wanting to be in the room with me for my visit. (I asked him to come with because I did not feel like I’d be heard.) I was in the room by myself while she dismissed my concerns about my body. It wasn’t until I said my period was late that she ran out of the room while I was mid sentence to get me a pregnancy test. Without even asking if there was any chance of pregnancy. She also laughed and rolled her eyes when I said I didn’t want an std test. It wasn’t until the last question that she actually acknowledged my concerns and pushed them off as just “pms symptoms”. I’m very disappointed in the services provided. Usually the staff are so nice and caring, but Jill was far from."

"Calling them is nearly impossible. I’ve been calling for 5 days and I’ve been on hold for an hour each time. I’ve been calling around opening hours and they have it on closed hours so it’s now 815am and they still have not turned off they’re automatic closing line. This place use to be on point but they have gotten horrible with customer service lately."

"Had to get a wellness checkup and was able to get an appointment for the next day. My nurse practitioner was Margo, and she was amazing, hands down the best bed side manor. Every time I’ve had a pap they’ve been painful and she didn’t cause me any discomfort. If the idea of a Pap smear gives you anxiety like it does me go to Margo."

"I’ve been here twice. Once in 2017 and this time in 2023. Both times I couldn’t find a phone number so I booked online and it was really easy. And everyone Ive interacted with here, the receptionists, the doctors, the nurses, the imaging people, the people who draw blood, they’ve all been incredibly professional, helpful and sensitive to my situation. I really appreciate how they always take the time to explain everything to me clearly and are so patient responding to all of my questions and concerns. I’m beyond grateful for the staff at this location and for the planned parenthood organization as a whole for everything they do. Thank you guys!"

"The service is horrible. My appt was at 2:20pm, the receptionist wasnt even at her desk until 2:45pm and no one else knows how to check people in. Everyone is unsure of the pricing, they made it seem like they were super busy, but there were only 3 customers for about 2hrs. Two stars because this a clinic for everyone, not just women."
