"This place is hit or miss… the real problem is their communication process… years ago all of the MTFs got rid of their phones so there’s absolutely no way to directly call the clinic which is really inconvenient for a lot of reasons. I had been told over and over to use the secure messaging on the portal to speak with my doctor but it always seemed like the nurses were putting up red tape by never relaying my messages to him. It took me finally getting mad with the lack of communication to have a head nurse call and get me scheduled to see my doctor and when I spoke to him he said he was completely unaware of my symptoms that I sent the nurses messages about! Not all of the staff is terrible and my doctor, Dr. Kushi, is great at what he does but this place really needs to work on communication for a better review. My doctor had to call out sick and they canceled my appointment but no one called and told me my appointment was canceled. It wasn’t until 40 minutes after my appointment time that I was told he called out sick that day and then they didn’t even offer to reschedule me…"

"My and my family have been seen here many times but they run late often. It was good to begin with but then my NP moved to Tripler and the new provider sucks. If you are late and have called ahead and they say still come, they turn you away when you arrive. So frustrating. They don't listen to your concerns well. I will be changing all our PCPs to someone else."

"So, if you live in kapolei or ewa and need to take your dependents to a medical home, this is my favorite. I am stationed on Scofield, but I live in Kapolei, and I have tried multiple. This one is my favorite and the most convenient."

"This pharmacy sucks, both windows are manned but no one is being helped. Maybe one number called every 10ish minutes. Only 2-3 people in the waiting room. You also cant just walk in for refills, you have to deal with their automated phone system and enter each one manually and then it takes 2 business days to pick up. Took 25 minutes just to check in and took another 20 to recieve my prescription. At this point id almost rather deal with the VA."

"This place would get 5 stars but the current nurse there is the worst, knocking it down to 2 stars. Bad attitude, rude and disrespectful. She picked the wrong profession to have those traits. Other than that, the pharmacy staff/crew are awesome and the front desk receptionist was great to engage conversation with. The pharmacy crew/staff and the Front Desk receptionist are very professional and helpful. Keep up the awesome and great work. As for that nurse, suggest you change professions where patient engagement isn’t in the job description. You make everyone in the medical profession look bad."
