"Aloha, I tried enter Palama express purchase drinks, snacks, and much more at 9:18pm, but the young red haired girl had already locked the doors 12 minutes early,, I tried to get her attention, but she gave me a disgusted look like I was doing something wrong by trying to spend money at your establishment within business hours, bad demeanor, and would not open the door while serving other people in the store before she locked everyone out before 920, STAND BY your business hours! I will never return to this location, maybe stop employing young college kids who can’t run a store and want to close early so they can go drink , I will be making a phone call tomorrow as well. I was going to buy at least $100 worth of merchandise as I was shopping for five or six people, so you guys lost money."
"Why is it always closed at 8:30pm although it says it is open until 9:30?"
"This is a Korean Store along Kuhio Avenue in Waikiki. You can buy bentos, drinks, and some candies. The pastries are good."
"The staff was very nice to us."
"One star is for Palama being the only cheap, convenient snack store by the HPU learning commons. The other star is for the Icees. But everything else is bad. The hot food made both myself and other students sick on more than one occasion. The snack selection has decreased to potato chips, Doritos, and Cheetos. And be sure to check expiration dates. I once accidentally bought expired peanut brittle. I've been in Palama on more than one occasion when there were literally no employees to be seen, let alone management. I don't think I've seen a manager once. If you do decide to go, which most HPU kids will out of desperation, go at night. The old lady who works during the day is the worst. She once yelled at me for trying to get a hot dog because apparently they weren't finished cooking. She also yelled at me a different time for spilling coffee creamer. And there was yet another time when she acted like I was an inconvenience because I asked for a plastic fork. I think she started hating me after the coffee creamer incident."
