"This place is great! Especially here in HI, who has room to store a ton of tools that you may only use once or twice. I tell all my friends to check out the tool library. The only down side their limited hours, but the value received is well worth the inconvenience."

"Convenient, economical & friendly. Moving to the front of ReUse Hawaii spotlights the HNL Tool Library. Being in the front also emanates a more breezy & open-air atmosphere. Being not as squeezed in, creates an environment of being able to approach the staff. My personal experience has been a very professional & pleasant one. The ‘Tooligans’ are always polite & helpful. They will share advice to lay people on how best to accomplish their projects. As such, the tool are in good repair with the blades, sandpaper & other consumable are in good shape. If a part needs replacing, they are most accommodating. I believe most if not all of the members respect the return due date of the borrowed item."

"This is such a cool service. I live in a small apartment and it's just not practical to own a bunch of tools right now. HNL Tool Library gives me access to all the tools I need for renovations and other stupid projects I take on. The cost of membership is about what I would have paid for a single tool but instead I get to use all of them."

"Yes! Go there! Become a member! It's amazing! So affordable. Great selection. Helps be part of the community instead of "supporting" big box stores all the time. Super helpful for our renovation project, especially since we didn't want to buy a bunch of specialty tools that we'll never use again, like for re-doing our tile backsplash, etc, etc... Their online inventory is also really really awesome, you can check out, in real time, what they've got available before you head over there. It's also great that they're in the Re-use Hawaii building, so there's all sorts of materials and project inspiration!"
