"They have a lot in stock and there are helpful customer service representatives. They are like 1-2 on general items cheaper than O'Reilly's. There are some of the employees who aren't well versed in the reliability of parts and just ask me if I want a lower priced one or higher priced one. That ain't right. That's why they get 4 stars."
"I recently had a disappointing experience at the Auto Zone on Salt Lake Blvd with the employees. I visited the store around 6:55 pm to have my battery, which was still under warranty, tested as it was showing signs of failure. Unfortunately, at that time, there were only two store representatives present and no other customers in the store. Upon requesting a battery test, the plus-size female representative informed me that she couldn't perform the test due to the limited staff. I found this reasoning perplexing since there were two representatives available and no other customers requiring assistance. Instead, she suggested that I remove the battery myself and bring it into the store for testing. As a loyal customer, I have always chosen Auto Zone as my first option, and I have never encountered such subpar customer service from them before. I believe in being understanding and respectful, so if the representative didn't want to leave her position behind the counter sitting on a cart on the computer, I would have respected that decision rather than tarnishing Auto Zone's reputation. Overall, this experience left me disappointed and questioning the level of customer service provided by the employees at the Auto Zone on Salt Lake Blvd."
