"Really terrible experience with this company and our project took over 2 years to complete. They decided they were done at some point, left the project unfinished, and instructed me to call the contractors board. I did and the board came out and told them to finish the job. My brand new grill sat in my garage for 18 months not installed. The level of quality is not the greatest and there’s still issues today. Asked multiple times for a meeting with the owner who just disappeared. Based on the reviews, looks like they were good years ago - not the case anymore. Please do yourself a favor and find a different company to work with."

"We have used Josh' team for rebuilding our fire pit and also installing a bbq burner in the past. They did excellent work each time. This time we asked Corbin from Josh Custom Outdoor Living to redesign our bbq grill island to make it larger, providing adequate room for a new 44 inch TEC infrared grill, a Lion high btu side burner and more prep area. We also wanted something different for the island top. Josh came up with a very practical 'L' shaped island and helped us to select the Italian ceramic tile for the top. Their team did a super job demolishing and removing most of the original island (no easy task since it was built with a lot of rebar) and fabricating the new island. As you can see from the picture, they matched the original stucco and paint perfectly and we have a stunning and highly functionable grill island."

"Was looking to have a custom BBQ island built for our new house after we had finished landscaping. I had been speaking to Joshua before I started the backyard project and he came over right away and we discussed all of the options available. He provided excellent input on grilles and appliances and once we finally had a plan he provided his detailed bid quickly. After we completed the landscaping, Josh came back and we reviewed the plans one final time before getting started. Josh met me to look for granite and tile options and was always available to talk throughout the project. He was on site when his crew started to job to make sure the layout was correct. Since I had a brand new patio I was very please with the care and protection the workers used at every phase of the build from the framers, electrician, to the tile and granite install a lot of care was taken and the detail and pride in workmanship was noticeable. When the appliances and cabinets were installed and checked out, they touched up and painted all of the joints between the granite and the stucco pillars of our patio. There was nothing left undone. Saw another review on Google but I cannot believe it at all. Josh allowed me to use a Cajun grill that is not in their standard line without any issue. Can’t understand what the other reviewers talking about with custom measurements, these guys can build anything you want. I would highly recommend Custom Outdoor Living to anyone looking for a quality custom BBQ island design, it was built even better than than we expected. Could not be happier."
