"DR. WEYMOUTH Spent 4 1/2 hours in pre-op at KVMH with an IV in my arm waiting to have hernia surgery. Was told Dr. Weymouth was in surgery with another patient having complications. When Dr. Weymouth finally came out with the nurse to bring me into surgery, Dr. Weymouth blamed the delay on “KVMH’s surgery scheduling.” I asked her if she needed to take a break. She said, “No. This is what we do.” 3 months after the surgery, I was still experiencing serious pain. Dr. Weymouth instructed me to, “Give it another 6 weeks.” After a period of time, still experiencing excruciating pain, I was re-examine by Dr. Weymouth who misdiagnosed the cause of my pain and recommended she do surgery on me a 2nd time. I decided to get a 2nd opinion and saw a specialist on Oahu. The resulting diagnosis was a nerve impingement as a result of Dr. Weymouth’s hernia surgery. The specialist explained that to repair the impingement would require an extensive, complicated procedure. I chose to forgo the repair procedure and am in worse pain than when I first went in to see Dr. Weymouth. If you are considering having surgery at KVMH, find any other physician than Dr. Weymouth ASAP! I hope this review helps someone reading it not have to go through the pain and suffering I have experienced."

"I ended up at the emergency clinic very unexpectedly on 12/30/23 while on vacation - the last thing I wanted to do as we still had so many plans and in my gut I knew what was going on with me was going to take me out of action. I was welcomed quickly by Julie C., RN who got be back into an exam room and then introduced me to Dr. Kevin G., MD. Both had exceptional bedside manner, showed concern, explained what was happening and why, and also helped explain to my wife. While waiting, another RN stepped in introducing himself and offering support. Recognizing we had some common background, he stuck around and chatted, sharing helpful information about the island as well as what was happening. Unfortunately, I do not recall his name but this gentleman, who graduated from LLUMC was a treasure as well. My thanks to the entire team for great service and showing Aloha in my time of need as well as my quick follow up visit for brief consult on New Year's Day!"
