"If I could give negative stars I would. The experience started out fine, Tyson helped us order flooring and Quartz slab. A few weeks later we changed our mind on the flooring, knowing there would be a restocking fee, which we were fine with paying. Turns out he lied to us and it was not returnable since it was a special order. Never informed us about that, only the restocking fee, but we did sign the invoice in which that was written in small print. We had picked out a specific type of quartz, which he says he’d hold for us, only for us to find out he did not. They made that right by giving us a larger slab for the same price. Fast forward, we of course ended up using the flooring we originally ordered, and ran out. My partner ordered a few boxes and Tyson let us know we could pick it up the next day. The next morning I drove out to the warehouse that supplies material to SS arriving when they open at 7:30. Turns out the order had not been put in yet. I then had to wait till SS opened at 8 to call Tyson. Who, literally laughed at me on the phone saying we should have given them a heads up we’d be there so early since they process orders in the morning, despite the fact that he told us we could pick it up. He placed the blame all on my partner and talked over me. Never once apologized. I have never had a more unprofessional experience in my life! You couldn’t pay me to work with this company again."

"Melbourne and Thomas were absolutely wonderful to work with. This outdoor patio and kitchen project of mine has been both stressful and exciting at the same time. Selective Stone has the experts to assist with every aspect of your project. They only sell the materials, but are connected to a large network of contractors who can do the finish work. You cannot find another granite or stone supplier anywhere on this island that can match the service, selection, pricing, friendly, helpful, patient, and welcoming atmosphere that this place has. I know because I pretty much called and visited every single place on Oahu. Some places will not even let you in the door to see what they have! "Yeah just go check out out website" they say.... Nothing is better than seeing and feeling it in person! Because of this, Selective Stone has earned my business now, and for future projects. I've always been a DIY kinda of guy and Selective Stone is now my go to place! I purchased an entire slab of granite for my custom outdoor cooking island at a very very reasonable price! While others wanted $3k to $4k for their slab, it was half that at Selective Stone. Plus the color was pretty much what I was looking for."
