Meadow Park

"This is my first time coming in the fall. The place was really nice. This is the perfect rest and stop space on a cross country trip. Much better than the highway rest stop. But respect to that one as well. This is not that far off the highway but much nicer and not crowded. I also came here during the winter to show the kids to snow shoe and cross country skiing. It's a fantastic well maintained city park."

"It's a smaller park but has everything you need: baseball diamonds, soccer fields, playground, restrooms and doggie bags. Parking is easy and lots of trash receptacles. If it's a heavy winter expect snow to build up on the field and parking lot."

"Small park, grass is green, it's a walk to the playground from parking area, no fenced area for dogs though. It has bathrooms, a baseball field, and soccer nets, that's about it."

"Truckee really needs a proper dog park. I read the reviews on this park for dogs and their humans and the reviews sounded promising. That said, short of 1 very positive exception, I generally found owners here who didn't allow their dogs to play with other dogs and many people who frowned on dogs being off-leash. It's a small park focused on soccer, baseball, and a playground. It's certainly better than nothing, but I don't get the high scoring reviews!"
