24 Hour Fitness

"This is the worst 24hr Fitness in the State. They can not manage a facility to save their lives. I have never seen a club slide backwards except for this one. They removed the pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room which was used by many people. When it was still there it broke for weeks at a time and there was no sense of urgency to repair. They did not keep spare parts for items which commonly broke. The air conditioning was constantly broken and continues to quit working. The interior workout area smells like an armpit and the shower area smells like mold. They do not check the showers to see if the soap is out. Seems like they have no routine maintenence plan Their fix put a exterior workout area. One person out of 75 used the existing workout area. Now they added additional workout areas. Where is the corporate office when you need them? Oh I forgot, they don't care. Join any club but this one."

"Most recent upgrades to 24hr fitness Mililani. The removed what was once the pool and hottih area and covered it all in carpet and stuck dumbbell racks. Never saw much people using it on the original side because it's outside in the sun. Today I went in and the inside area stunk and was very musty smelling. They had big fans running which didn't help. The centrifuge was removed from the women's bathroom so assume the men's side is the same. Depressing really. Only good thing was that they built a handicap ramp."

"“Upgrades” are downgrades! Got a membership here specifically because they had a lap pool and loved the sauna. One month in, they started an “upgrade” project which took out the pool, sauna, steam room, and outdoor shower to create an outdoor turf area with racks. This process took almost 5 months! The “new” outdoor area opened today and I tried it out. Since the equipment has been sitting out there for months with no use, the bumper plates are now stuck together, crusty, and rusty in the middle. The medicine balls have melted so that one side of the ball is completely flat and unusable, and many of the barbells have rust on them. The turf field is an absolute safety hazard as there are giant divots in it! Someone is absolutely going to break an ankle out there. They also did not flatten out the area so be prepared to stand on uneven ground when squatting and having your deadlift weight slowly roll away. On top of all this, the AC has been broken inside for about a month now (so the sauna is kinda back lol) and I definitely wouldn’t shower here. One positive note is the front staff are EXTREMELY nice so shout out to those guys. However, I highly recommend choosing any other gym on the island."

"The air conditioning has been broken for almost 3 weeks. The heat is unbearable because there’s no ventilation, no windows, and only a small door is left open, also there’s an industrial fan but isn’t enough. The crowding of so many people makes the heat extreme. Management has posted notices about the problem, but they are taking too long. It’s horrible. Only the aerobics room of the gym have AC."

"About 3 weeks ago, the temperature drastically increased in the gym. Signs were posted that they were actively working on the problem. We have heard that “corporate” made a decision to increase the temperature. Adding an industrial fan pointing at a few leg machines doesn’t cut it. There are numerous people complaining about the temperature and something needs to be done immediately. My entire family no longer enjoys our workouts and are contemplating alternatives. FIX THE PROBLEM and be HONEST with your members."
