I have been calling repeatedly since February to get my life saving drug. It's now June and nothing. If it wasn't from my primary being able to fill this prescription, I'd more than likely be in a hospital or worse dead...."

"I am very disappointed with Dr.Dewan and his staff. After 9 years of my son being a patient, i made the decision to change endocrinologists and leave The Docs. The staff is extremely unreliable and it is nearly impossible to get a hold of them. I have been trying for 2 months to get test strips refilled. Going back and forth with insurance and the pharmacy because Dr. Dewan’s staff would not do their job. I would literally call the office, then call insurance, and call the office back to let them know a prior authorization was needed, and never got the issue fixed! My last straw was a couple of days ago when I called again for a prior authorization the insurance requested from their office, and they let me know they cannot provide one until his next appointment, which was a month out and he no longer had test strips, and after 9 years they could have given us the courtesy of sending it over. After waiting for almost an hour on hold, I finally got through, canceled my appointment and left a message for Dr. Dewan letting him know why we would no longer return (he obviously didn’t care enough to reply). Dr. Dewan is a great endocrinologist, but the staff is HORRIBLE! I do not recommend this office as a pediatric endocrinologist."

"I live with my sister who is a patient here. She has tried 2 days now to get a hold of someone from this office. 2 days stressing to get her life saving prescription approved since she is out of it and this office has dragged their feet about getting prescriptions approved. She has been met with being on hold for more then 3 hours, no email, no call back and then finally after exhausting all resources they send a text the next day with a generic message saying “we’re working on it”. If an office isn’t going to answer the phone done have a phone number."

"My daughter was a patient of Dr. Dewan for over 2 years. We switched offices after we went weeks without being able to get ahold of anyone in the office. The lack of communication became such a problem with getting prescriptions refilled,followups on test results and even making appointments that we felt it medically necessary to switch. The do have a online portal but even with that i never got return phone calls. Dr. Dewan is very smart, and I enjoyed working with him directly but his office is terrible."
