"Horrible service, lying clerks, fake manager Lana refused to sell products at sale price then refused sale."
"I literally remembered going into this store when me and my mom are waiting for my job appointment next door. This Family Dollar is too small and too narrow; like I remember how it was so narrow and the store is full of merchandise like there is not enough space, like an iPod not having enough space to store photos and media. I'm never going into that store ever again. The last time I went there was around September 2019 - but I dunno. This place sucks."
"As an employee, this was the worst job I have ever had and is the only job where I essentially got a pay cut. I was with this location for almost 2 years. When I was hired, it was agreed that I would stay $1 above minimum wage, not asking too much. I never got a raise. Minimum wage increased and I was then at minimum wage. $10. When I asked about a raise, 3 higher managers including 2 district managers told me that if I want a raise I need to quite and then reapply online and see if I get hired back at the higher wage. That's for sure a trick to get me to quit. They also proceeded to hire people that did less at 20% higher pay than me. The time clock system frequently makes "mistakes" to save the company money by stealing hours off the employees time card. When I injured my back, management refused to file any injury reports and they hassled me every day for 3 weeks til I returned. When I got assaulted at the register, higher management tried to fire me but lower management ignored them and didn't fire me. The company does not care at all for it employee safety or how much is stolen. They not only save money by paying low wages and not their full times but they also save money by not paying proper overtime, they don't give PTO when asked, and overworking the employees as well. I frequently unloaded the delivery truck and stocked the shelves by myself and I have heard that all of these issues are still happening. I feel bad for anyone working for this company and how it is "managed"."
"I was just at family dollar on rainbow when I met Tiffany the sales girl there who well I was trying to do something nice for a young lady who had $100 bill she went off on me. She had somebody put all of my purchases back when I went out to the car to get the girls change. I said I’ll be right back. When I returned she said well you never know with you white people. I don’t know if you’re coming back or not. WHAT? Did you stereotype white people? she was rude and she had no problem fighting and confronting me in front of one The young girl that I was giving change for $100 bill and she was at work, I was the customer. I don’t need to be discriminated against at the dollar store . White people have feelings too"
"I've never been to a Family Dollar where you are greeted and have the door opened for you. That was definitely unique though I'm unsure if it's a regular occurrence. Anyways, I had a blast. The Family Dollar I'm used to in Arizona was not as large and full of things to buy. I kind of went a little wild in there but they truly did have everything!!!! I just moved to Vegas so I got some cute table mats and a few decorative items for around the house. I think they're adorable!"
