"Office scheduler has no regard for patient's schedules. We live four hours away and on many occasions we are called the day before because they want to change our appointment. The latest reason, "We over booked". That's not my problem!!! We have to make reservations for motels and take time off for work which I don't get paid for. We don't live in Reno and they expect us to drop everything because they don't know how to manage their time. In this past instance, we had an 830am appointment which meant we have to leave the day before, stay in a motel and then make the 4 hour drive home after the appointment. Now they pushed it to 230pm which means we lose money on our motel reservations and now we are getting home much later when we already had appointments for other services. If I ran my business this way, I wouldn't be in business for very long. Yet this seems to be the norm for the medical profession. LAME, LAME, LAME!!!"
"No one ever wants to hear the words cancer. Dr. Lim is simply the BEST at taking care of you, and calming your fears. This man is a HUGE gift to our community and to the women who see him. He is thorough, accurate and precise. His heart and love for his patients is evident, in how he speaks, takes his time in talking with you and walking you through the hardest time in your life. Dr. Chalian is an expert in his field as well, and really loves his patience and takes great care of you. He takes his time to explain things and listen to you, and calms you down right when you need it. Laura Orange, APRN, she is such a sweet blessing, and such a great listener. I have had great experiences with Gina, and Claudia the front office ladies. I have to say that The Center of Hope Staff is the best. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Lim."
"The office staff Gina and Claudia are the most unpleasant people I've ever had the displeasure of interacting with. They speak to you terribly, don't return your calls, don't get you the FMLA paperwork, scoff and laugh, kick you out of the exam room after you've been placed in there, explain and make you sign private medical procedure forms at the front desk. No HIPPA practice?! Dr. Lim is a great surgeon, and It's unfortunate he does not know how his staff treats his patients."
"Gina and Claudia are the rudest front office associates I have ever come in contact with. The fact that the Center of Hope is so busy and so much in demand but can only afford two women who could seriously care less about what they are doing! If you need any paperwork and I mean anything at all that req them to do their jobs expect a week wait with no follow up. If you call to see what's going on or try to expedite in any way you are met with attitude and hostility no matter the circumstances. Then you will be told that you are not the only patient they are dealing with and most likely hung up on. The doctors take their word for it in most cases and you will get your paperwork or whatever it is you need on their time not yours. I thought it was just me but then witnessed Claudia in action on a call telling a patient they are not the only patient. I also witnessed her being very rude to a woman trying to schedule radiation. She too was told she is not the only patient. Is this how you run your practice Dr. Lim? Is this how we are to be spoken to in one of the scariest times of our lives? If you are so busy and don't want to help people keep their jobs maybe take a cut out of your own pay before assuming someone has that luxury to wait on your horrible staff to fill out a form that literally takes 2 min. Are you going to help me pay my rent when my job fires me because of the incompetence of your staff?Didn't think so. I req a leave of absence form on Wednesday found out a week later after inquiring about what was going on. I was met with attitude and hostility and again told I'm not the only patient! Then get this! After being told for a week that they would take care of it they then completely switch up and then say they do not provide this service and to contact my primary physician for further assistance!!! They wasted a week of my time to tell me it's their policy to not help me!!!have they not worked here for years? Are they not trained properly? Why is it it takes a week to state they cannot help me?A Doctors staff is supposed to represent themselves.... what does yours say about you? I give you one star. That's what it takes to post this review about your piss poor service."
"I'm a difficult case in the best day; Dr. Lim and his staff took the time to thoroughly explore and explain my options, giving me the best chance at making an educated and supported choice in my own care. Throughout, his staff, in particular his Nurse Practitioner, took extra time with me when I was upset and helped me through a very difficult decision. I'm hopeful that Dr. Lim and staff continue to serve the Reno area, as such a high level of skill is rarely available without out of town travel."
