"We got here right before the park was going to close( she even called to make sure we were still on our way, because they close at nine and if you don't make it you have to wait until the next day)... When we finally got there, we thought that she would just give us instructions on which site to take and leave us to it. But she was kind enough to wait and walk us over to our site, and guide us in the dark. Then she even helped us pull our tow dolly over to our site. She went above and beyond In my book and I appreciated everything. Thanks for all your help we appreciated and needed it."
"the bathrooms were deplorable, feces in shower, they claimed it was a sewer back up, an on going problem. I will say thear the day manager Pam had the showers cleaned by the maintainance man and he did a good job. they need to be swept and cleaned daily."
"Great location and you can bring your tent to a rental campsite or your RV. Heated pool, clean and hot shower, laundry room and library!!! Public firepit, clean area. Theresa restaurant, gas station and museum nearby. Thank you Dana, nice service, will definitely go back!!"
"I wanted to stay here because I was doing a hike the next morning down the road, and I was told that the pool there is very nice. However, when I arrived to ask about a availability and explained I just needed a site that I can park in since I sleep in my Prius (doesn't matter if it's an RV or rent site to me), I was told I wouldn't be allowed to stay there. They apparently require a tent and don't allow guests to sleep in their cars. I've camped in my Prius for years and never heard of this issue before. I'm glad I didn't try to make an online reservation ahead of time, as I'm guessing I would have lost my money on top of not being able to stay there."
"Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. You can't check in before 1, which is normal, but the office doesn't even open til 1. So you can't even ask if it's okay. Even if your site is paid for and available. There's supposedly a key for the bathrooms and pool, but we were never given a key. The bathroom was clean, but run down. The floors are slippery. There's only 1 shower stall with a soggy bath mat in front of it. The stall door to the shower stall and toilet stalls were a little on the small side. You can look at someone over the door while getting out of the shower. I just used my tiny camper shower instead. There's no cell service, and their wifi is spotty. The site was clean and relatively level and the whole campground seemed clean. Also, "BR" on the map, by space 35, is not a bathroom. They didn't bother to tell us what it meant or have anything on the map to tell you either, but it's either a mobile home you can rent, or someone's home. The only restaurant in town closes at 6. That's if they even open at all. The only gas station in town is also pretty sad. You're better off staying in Pahrump!"
