"Best snow place for play w the kids"

"Pinecrest is hard to beat. I went back because I used to go every year when I was a kid. It's still great. Didn't camp but stayed nearby. Still just as good as the times I used to spend there. The only reason not 5 stars is the lake level is low. Not there fault though. Thanks Mr California and Mrs drought."

"Love it here! The trees, the water, and all the outdoor activities possible. We've stayed in their cabins and have loved it! Being able to just walk out your door and be right at the lake is wonderful!! The views and the fresh mountain air really relaxes you. Can't wait to go in the future."

"I love this place. There is so much to do here. There is a hiking trail surrounding the lake that is a great workout and a breath of fresh air. You can swim on the lake itself during summer days although the water is freezing cold. During winter months the place is full of snow and sometimes you can walk on the lake that has frozen over. A great place to visit, especially with dogs!"

"Loved, loved, loved it!! The lake was awesome. Like a picture puzzle. Kid friendly lake. We Hiked, kayaked and swam. Campgrounds are super awesome! Nice size and plenty of shade. We all rode our bikes around the campground. Did want to leave but we have to get back to real life. Oh yeah, no service made it even better!"
