"I took my Ioniq 5 to Tony Hyundai on the recommendation of a friend and because they had Saturday hours. They did not disappoint! Informative texts in advance of the appointment, helped prepare me for locating them. It seems very busy and crowded, yet they were able to check me in quickly. The lobby area is spacious, clean and comfortable, with coffee and vending machines. I was able to get work done at a table while I waited. I only had scheduled maintenance, so I can’t review repairs. And when it was done they gave me a coupon for a free car wash. Highly recommend!"
"I scheduled an appointment to redeem on of my Tony Care Maintenance visits for my BMW. I made an appointment and when I arrived the checking in process was horrible. It was more like whoever arrive first and parked their vehicle by the service door was able to be checked in, making the initial impression of the service department seem horrible. I finally was checked in and the service representative was very friendly and informative. I was under the impression my services would be covered completely and I left my vehicle. Shortly after I received a call stating that I would have to pay an additional fee because the amount of oil my vehicle needed was over the allowed amount stated on my contract. At first I didn’t think anything about it but I decided to look at the Tony Care contract. It never stated any anything so I even contacted the dealership to see if they had a different copy. Shortly after I got a call from my service representative stating that the service department forgot to inform me that when I bought the vehicle. I asked if there was any of other limits and was told no. Due to the missing information, I was told that this time the service department would not charge me but for my future visits I would have to pay. I understand that there are limits but I wish I would receive actual documentation stating this and not just word of mouth. It makes it seem as if it was an attempt to make some kind of money off of me and if I didn’t challenge it, they would have gotten away with it. Thankfully I don’t have much longer on island and won’t have to deal with the lack of transparency. Always ask what’s included and where the information can be found."
