"Wonderful encounter! Las Vegas is about 17 miles west of Red Rock Canyon. The 13-mile trip offers breathtaking views of the canyon. There are picnic spaces, mountain biking trails, horseback riding, rock climbing, and hiking trails. It's a wonderful escape from the bustle of Vegas and breathtakingly gorgeous."
"This was my first time here, and I was taken aback by the beauty of it. The weather was cloudy and drizzly at times, but we did get patches of blue. The park is well organized and easy to navigate around. We'll come back when it's sunnier to see the tortoises! If you're in the Vegas area, you must visit here!"
"A scenic, picturesque and serene landscape with amazing views of mountains. The day pass (about $25 in 2024) allows access to the visitor center, scenic loop drive and access to all the trails. Please note that cars should only stop at designated areas on the loop. Plenty of photo opportunities and access to well marked trails are available in these stops. The larger scenic view points also have restrooms."
"Very nice for a scenic drive. You can see all the rock formations and the colors – they’re out of this world. Whether you’re into hiking or just wanna chill and enjoy nature, Red Rock Canyon is the spot, and it’s only a 25-minute drive from the strip"
"This place had amazing views. There is a scenic drive route that allows you to see many beautiful sites along with many hiking paths. Be prepared if you plan on hiking any trails. Some of the easier rated trails have elevation and rocks paths that may require some agility. We spent almost the entire day there. Walking 4-5 trails around the scenic route."
