Big Bovine of The Desert

"You wonder "why is this huge Holstein cow situated here in the middle of the desert?", but I guess because just north of this location in the Amargosa Valley there's a huge dairy and I believe it's the largest in Nevada. At least I guess that's why it's here. lol There's a bull right across the road. Anyway, it's a cool photo op and right next to the nice Longstreet Inn & Casino."

"This Big Beautiful Bovine fiberglass sculpture stands about 12’ tall and 15’ wide. It’s about 35 miles on your way to Death Valley National Park. It sits along highway 95 adjacent to the Longstreet Inn and Casino. A great photo op and selfie landmark. Check out the casino as well while you were there. They have some cool historical items in there as well as a few slot machines to try your luck at. They do have a café, but it closes between 2 and 4 PM. So time your lunch or dinner accordingly. "Great stop! Not everyday you see a GIANT milk cow out in there desert so we had to stop in and get a few pics. Was pleasantly surprised at the Longstreet Casino right next to it, had a great breakfast at reasonable price and it in itself had some great sights to see there as well. Fun place!"
