"After I booked the room online with a 3rd party, after unsuccessfully trying to contact somebody by phone, I received 12 emails within an hour Half seemed to be duplicates. The room was inexpensive, but the “management” company charged $20 for a cleaning fee for a 250 sq foot room for 1 night. (We always leave at least a $5 tip for housekeeping, but couldn’t stomach that after paying the cleaning fee.). The envelope in the room requesting a tip is almost offensive. The room was mostly clean, although our feet were dirty after walking barefoot on the floor. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was huge (almost the same size as the room), and well-appointed. It had a modern, massive shower. There was no place to put any luggage, nor any chairs in the room. We brought in a chair from outside. The property is in a very pretty area. The reviews mentioned a local BBQ restaurant and burger joint. Both were closed (may be open on weekends?). The room was accurately portrayed in the photos. We booked the last one available that had a queen bed, and full bunk with twin on top. There was very little room to get around the beds, and a tight squeeze between the bed and bathroom. If you had 3 people needing a bed and were on a budget, room 11 would be great. It did have a small fridge, microwave, hairdryer, wall AC unit, and wall heat unit. Table and 4 chairs outside were clean. Could hear the traffic outside, but did not bother us. Note to managers: put at least one chair in the room. And, a corner table and some hooks for luggage. The wheels at the base of the beds are a hazard to one’s toes."
"the toilet in room 1 doesn’t not flush properly and the sink has an issue draining. Also the coffee bag was so old that it had split and could not be used. I had read the issue about the toilet in a review and very disappointed to see that it has not been addressed! Not sure where we are meant to go to the toilet? For the money we paid for this motel we expect the basics to work well."
"Walked into an uncleaned room at 11 pm. Tried calling Everday Luxury Inc aka. management numerous time after accessing room and was directed to leave a voice-mail. Never called back, longterm renter gave me clean bedding to change bed. Called again next day at 8 am and was told manager had family emergency so didn't clean room. Said they were trying to find someone to go clean room and would call me back with status in about 2 hours. Waited all day and ended up calling several more times which again rolled over to voice-mail. Finally got a call in the late afternoon and said couldn't find someone to clean the room and offered to reimburse Cleaning Fee $20. Paid total of $189.89 for two nights and they couldn't even comp me a night's room. Extremely poor customer service."
"We arrived 2 hours early and hoped to check in, our room still hadn’t been cleaned. Upon check in, in room 10, we discovered that the bathroom door lock is completely broken there for anyone that use the restroom had zero privacy. The shower looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Shower handle was barely hanging on to the glass, the towel bar was barely hanging from the wall. And underneath the bed looks like it hasn’t been cleaned for months. I have applied photos so you can see for yourself I would not recommend staying at this hotel. I had high hopes you can tell someone came in and redid it and wanted to make it nice but the upkeep is not being done whatsoever! Smelled like smoke really bad too. Really disappointed."
"My 7 year old daughter and I stayed in room #9 which has a king bed. The hotel is right off the highway but noise was not a factor as it wasn’t too busy. The rooms are recently renovated and are very clean and functional. Nice large bathroom and plenty of storage. Shower is large and has great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Nice table outside so we were able to cook and eat there which was nice. A nice BBQ restaurant is across the street, Bridgeport is a short drive… we spent 2 nights here and did Buckeye Hot Springs which was phenomenal. Only 2 issues are small and possibly only in #9 - there is a door separating 9 & 10 which is obviously great if you want adjoining rooms with someone. But because it’s a door we could hear people in 10 talking as if they were in our room and they were not being loud (they were talking in normal voice levels)… the king bed was a slight issue as I am obviously much larger than my daughter and I felt the bed was leaning slightly and I would slowly slide that direction. Overall we had a fantastic stay and loved the location, very comfortable room!"
