"Normally, I don't give reviews but I had to come on here to get this review for this reason. So I initially started with a insurance payment of $420 a month. Which I was fine with, all of a sudden it goes up too $520 with no notice nothing. So I looked for a new insurance company. With that I contacted this person too inform them that I was leaving on said day so I wouldn't need to owe anything or have to pay anything additional so I left . Nothing was owed no outstanding balance nothing. After he charged me $74 dollars which he pulled from my account without my consent so I tried calling him to see why and never answered me in any way. Now my credit was affected because the payment wasn't arranged in anyway because I dont know what that amount was for because I didn't owe anything."

"I was in his office on Mar. 22 to renew my car insurance. My friend and I arrived at 4:45pm, and I had this concern to not finish our job on time. I told Oscar, according to my budget, I'm only looking for something cheaper (I paid $516 for my current policy), and he suggested to INCREASE my coverage! I replied, do you want me to pay more!?? (Cuz I always taught, more coverage, more premium!) He answered me, you're wrong! By increasing your coverage, you show the insurance company you are a safe driver, and as a result, it's likely your premium decreases! And he continued if I obtained an specific level of coverage which is greater than my current coverage, I need to pay only $420! So, I absolutely agreed! And also after our meeting, I realized it is 5:15pm while someone outside waiting for Oscar to pick him up. He is so nice and also he saves $100 on my new policy."

"If your looking for an insurance agent who is both professional as well as caring of his clients needs Oscar is the one.. over the past 8 years he has saved the company I work for literally thousands on our fleet insurance with better coverage then another very popular agency was giving us. He has made himself available to provide me needed documents at a moment's notice, like when I have finally gotten to my window at DMV only to find I don't have everything I need for whatever vehicle I'm there for and rather than having to return he has, while on his lunch, gotten me whatever I needed so quickly I was not sent away. Not only once but several occasions which may say more about me then him. I am not always as prepared as I should be but have never been let down. Oscar is honest and personable. He cares about my economic realities with the personal coverage he provides me also and makes sure the coverage is easily afforded, again better coverage than I have ever carried in this state. I had always gone for the minimum coverage needed but as I've aged my assets have increased therefore my coverage did as well and for less then I was paying with with another top provider. I have also used the roadside assistance they offer many times over the years and have never had those long waits that the other companies have always had to put you through. I have not one complaint about the company or Oscar. He's truly the best I have found in the 35 years I've resided in Reno. Give him a call and see how much he can save you, you will be surprised!"

"I started with Oscar a few years back with a span between coverage needs. Writing policy comes with a smile but it is fake. I cancelled coverage on one vehicle needing the money applied to my policy. I was instructed the money would quickly be returned to my account. Communication with both David and Oscar is challenging as they are more likely to make falae statements rather than the truth. I kept up contact watching for funds returned to my account. It has been troubling to say the least. Just know, Oscar screwed up by not transferring money as agreed, and then had the audacity to tell me he's not responsible for my finances. 66$ is the amoumt of refund owed me from mid November. I found out after more than a month after policy change, the money wasn't scheduled as David instructed me. No return by bank nor any effort to return funds to my account. Today, Oscar confirmed that return to card option David agreed upon, was never arranged. I found out it took company over 3 weeks before the check was cut (Dec 11). I was not prepared for a mailing. Now, hunting down a check that if lost, I might see these funds in February 2020. This is worse than bad communication. It is not a business I would recommend. Keep looking for an agent who gives factual information."
